Its located next to the Kodai lake on the eastern side. Worth a visit for its flowers, hybrids and grafts. A glass house which host some of the finest varieties of flowers and herbs. Every year during the month of May flower show is conducted, where people in and around Kodaikanal will bring their own produce to showcase.

Just a kilometer away from the lake you can reach to this breath taking view place. Named out of Er. Coaker who identified this pathway during 1872. One can enjoy the beauty of the plains below. There is a telescope house, from where one can get closer to the panorama.

Kurinji Andavar Temple

Just 1.5 kms from our hotel. This famous shrine is dedicated to Lord Muruga. This temple is associated with the kurinji flowers that bloom once in 12 years. Kurinji means the hill region in Tamil literature and andavar means god. Therefore Lord Muruga is referred to as the God of the Hill here. From this temple one can have a view of Palani.

Dolphin's Nose

An awesome instance of nature’s splendor – where a flat rock projects over a Yawning chasm of 6600 ft deep, holds one’s breathe away for a moment. On the way, beautiful views of plains and steep rocky escarpment called rolling hills can be seen. The old village of Vellagavi can be reached through the rugged bridle path.

"Grand cascade" is another name for this magnificent falls. It can be reached by a steep, precipitous path behind Pambar house. Racing down Pambar Raivine is Zig-zagging living stream that cascades over a series of rock formations.

Solar Observatory

Its located at the top most point of Kodaikanal, which is 7700 ft above mean sea level. Built in 1898. It has a well equipped productive laboratory doing quality research work. Its director Evershed discovered the phenomenon of radial motion in Sunspots - known as Evershed effect.

La Saleth Church

Kodaikanal, the hill country is no exception to this and she too hosts our lady of La Saleth shrine possessing the traditional heritage of 150 years and it is one of the two shrines dedicated to our lady of La saleth in the whole world, one in French and the other in kodaikanal. it is near to Coaker's walk.

Shenbaganur Museum

The Sacred Heart College maintains this museum. It is a Theological Seminary founded in 1895 and devoted to preserving certain archaeological remains and the flora and fauna of the hills. It houses one of the best Orchidariams in the country. It has over 300 species of exotic orchids are housed here. It is about 5.6 kms the lake. Father Ugarthe, a Spaniard contributed his many private collections to the museum.

Berijam Lake

Another big artificial lake in the upper regions of palani hills. It is a fine picnic spot offering beautiful scenery. It is 21 Kms from the Kodaikanal, located deep inside the forest. It was first discovered and reclaimed in 1864 by Colonel Hamilton of the British Army. You need to get a special permission from Department of Forest at Kodaikanal to visit.
